How it works

This solution automates the pill retrieval process from bottles and efficiently organizes them into a weekly pill container, following a pre-programmed medication schedule. The XYZ Gantry robot is responsible for extracting pills from the bottles. To accommodate different pill thicknesses, the device's end effector utilizes a spring-loaded vacuum tip that adjusts automatically. In addition, the vacuum picker is mounted on a slide that self-regulates to match the fill level of the bottles.
